Into this group goes such carvings as our Bambi’s, Hilda the Witch and a rooster that sits
next to Frosty the Snowman. Behind them, hanging on the fence, are Horse Head Plaques
and a Raccoon or two. Whatever idea is that I come up with to carve, my customers often come to
me with new ideas for things that mean something to them. This has ranged, over the years,
from a Buddha to a large Mortar and Pestle for the roof a pharmacy to a five-foot wrench set
for a local mechanic’s front yard. Someone also wanted a Gizmo (the furry beast one) while
another wanted a family of trolls.
