Living next to the Bras d’Or Lakes of Cape Breton, spotting eagles can be a daily occurrence. When you come down our hill and look across the road to the trees by the water, you often see eye to eye with these majestic and very large birds. They wait quietly to see what the lake will offer up and then with a loud swoop of their wings they spring into action. The brown juveniles are also swooping around showing their stuff.
